What about all this patterned paper?  I think I have used more patterned paper in the last few weeks than I have in several months!  I am loving all these new 6x6 pads!  It does all the matching and colors combos for me, I guess!

As I am scheduling this post, I see March 31st is my friends Sue Ann's birthday!  I want to send a huge Happy Birthday to you SA!  I hope your day is amazing!  You always know how to make me smile and I am so lucky to have "met" you!  I'm going out with the girls tonight so you know I am going to have a Rita for you!! :) xoxoxo

Here is this weeks sketch...

Hope you can play along this week!  Thanks so much for coming by and have a great weekend!  :)

Going to the chapel...

I'm going to admit it.  This weeks CAS-ual Fridays theme was just a little hard for me.  I couldn't get my brain to think outside of the box.  But that's why we love these challenges right?  I was determined and then so happy to find a stamp that really worked SO perfectly for this week!  It kinda did all the work for me!  LOL!  So this weeks challenge?  Name that tune!  Here is my card...

IMG_6123_edited-1

I used Love and Marriage from PTI to make this super easy, CAS card!  And three little rose buds using MFT dies.  Oh and some texture in the background!

Here is this week's challenge badge...

Stop over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see more about the sponsor for the week and check out the prize!  Also, take a look at all of the DT cards and see what tunes are playing!

One more thing...don't forget the DT call!  We are looking for a few additions to the team!  Have a great day!

IMG_5691_edited-1

I colored the grass with Copics, added some pink to their ears and then a little bit of white flocking for each of their tails...

IMG_5693_edited-1

I used this little Happy Easter sentiment too!  Now don't forget that the bunny border is 10% off this week!  Go add it to your cart just in time for Easter!

It's a Shower...

Have you seen the March/April release over at Clear and Simple Stamps?  Well, you would be missing out if you haven't seen it yet!  Its a big one!  And so many fun new stamps and dies.  Click HERE to see the whole release.

I have a new card today using Cart Parts and Baby Sentiments.  Here is my shower invite...

IMG_5590_edited-1

I stamped the umbrella outline and then the solid image onto each.  I cut out 2 umbrellas and this made for a quick card.  No masking required.  I think if you needed to mass produce an invitation like this it could be pretty quick!  Here is the inside...

IMG_5595_edited-1

I love that sentiment from Shower sentiments.  And then the Date, Time Place, RSVP and the lines all come from Party Elements Baby!  There are lots of fun elements in this set!

So happy you came by today!  Thanks so much for stopping!

Now on to today's blog hop...

Here is the inspiration pic....

And here is my card...

IMG_6076_edited-1

I saw so many things going on in this picture but the things I kept going back to, were the strips, polka dots and of course those gorgeous colors.  So I had to incorporate them all into one card.  I did a little masking with the help of my Zing and then sponged the ink on first.  Then I went back over the top with Polka Dot Basics.  I added in a sentiment from a Fillable Frames set and then some little Aqua Mist colored flowers I've had in my stash for-evah.  Glad to use those finally!

I am glad you could come by today!  Thanks so much for stopping!

This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is a fun one.  Definitely not my normal go to colors! This week the challenge is to use black and a pastel.  Here is my card...

IMG_5894_edited-1

I made my seam binding with a green Copic and then wrinkled it up with my fingers.  I love this "diy" of making your own.  All you need is one big spool of white and some markers and your set!

Here is this weeks sketch...

Happy Birthday Banner Card

Just stopping in to share a fun little birthday card!  This card was made using the new banner dies from Clear and Simple!  I love how this set of dies has different layers to make each banner have more dimension.  Here is my card...

IMG_5917_edited-1

The flower is from the Build-A-Flower die set.  It's so cute and there are so many possibilities!  I love the leaves with the impressed line down the middle.  That gorgeous label is from the new Trifold card die set. You've been seeing me use this one a lot lately.  It is such a gorgeous shape.

Hope everyone in blog land is doing well!  I am staying way too busy with the kids and life.  It's amazing how much stuff piles up so fast!  I am ready for summer!  That being said...it's like summer here in Kansas.  The weather is amazing and the flowers are blooming!  Thanks so much for coming by today!  Have a great day!

Day 2 over at Market Street...

I am so excited to be back again today blogging over at the Market Street blog!  I have a new stamp set from February's release, Neighborhood.  When I saw this little row of houses, I fell in love!  I knew that I could use this one for some fun CAS cards!  Here is my first card...

IMG_5788_edited-1

I lined this one up and stamped a full background.  then I layered it on to the white card base after adding in some ribbon.  I topped it off with the label, complete with a house and sentiment.

My next card is super CAS...

IMG_5789_edited-1

I stamped the image and then colored it in with some fun, bright colors.  Then I added in some Glossy Accents on each window just for a little added detail.  I am thinking this would be a great card for new neighbors!

Here is a pic of the Neighborhood set...

Simply adorable!

I wanted to take a second and share a couple of my favorites..some I have, some are on my wish list!  If you area gingham fan, THIS background is really fun!  I love the large size for a card front.  This Vintage Notepad background is so cool.  I love the distressed look!  The florals and the fonts in THIS set are just beautiful!  I have made several cards using this set and I am definitely a fan!

Thanks again for coming today!  And thanks to Angelica and Market Street for having me!

Have a great day!

Guess What?!

I got an super sweet email from Angelica recently, asking me to be a guest blogger over at Market Street Stamps!  Of course I said yes!!  So that is what is up for today!

I have 2 CAS MSS cards to share!  Today's card showcase one of my favorite MSS sets, Gone Campin'! I think what got me was the camper!  I want one life size!   Here is my first card...

IMG_5774_edited-1

I paper pieced the camper with My Minds Eye, Blink of an Eye paper pack.  Then I added some grass and a fun little sentiment!  Here is my next card...

IMG_5783_edited-1

I am from Colorado and me and camping go WAY back, so I am totally loving this little fire image.  I colored the flame and logs with my Prismas and oms.  The clouds are actually hand cut out of fun foam, then  I stuck them to my acrylic block with adhesive and stamped them with some white ink.  So fun!

Here is a pic of Gone Campin'...

If you don't already own some Market Street sets, they would be a great addition to your crafting stash!  They really stamp a clear and crisp image and I love that!  Their backgrounds are amazing!  I am thinking the new houndstooth background needs to come and live in my craft room!  :)

I am so glad you could come by today!  I am really excited to have this opportunity to share over at the MSS blog! You can find me over at my blog, Soapbox Creations!   Hope you are all having a great day!  Thanks for coming by!

Easy as 1-2-3...

So so happy its Friday! Aren't you?  (Well it's CST here so technically we still have one hour...)  This means it's time again for CAS-ual Fridays!  The challenge this week is to use a background pattern, an image and a sentiment.  Here is my card...

IMG_5865_edited-1

This card uses the super adorable new set called Cart Pals: Occasions from Clear and Simple.  I am in love with these apples and this little cart.  I stamped the cart on the white cardstock and then on typing paper.  I carefully cut the cart out and used that as a mask.  Then I took the woodgrain background stamp from the Background Basics I set (that I used for the background) and stamped the cart.  The Cart Parts set has an adorable wood grain pattern too, but this way my image and background matched perfectly!

I am sure that our Sponsor, Clear and Simple Stamps, has a great prize for you this week! Go check out the CAS-ual Fridays blog for the details!  And go check out all the other CSS creations from the DT this week!

OH and one more thing...if you haven't had a chance to see Clear and Simple's latest March/April release, click HERE to see all of their amazing new stamps and dies!  You don't want to miss it!  :)
